Founded in 1919, the company has never stopped developing its organizational structure and its range of meters both for submetering and utility to meet every usage requirement. It is now manufacturing over three million meters every year.

In 2018, the Company opened a new production facility in Germany, Maddalena GmbH, to complement the Italian plant.

Maddalena, fondata a Udine nel lontano 1919 dall’intuizione dell’Avvocato Giacinto Maddalena. è considerata da anni una della più importanti realtà industriali mondiali nel campo della produzione di contatori.Oggi i moderni impianti e la nuova struttura logistico-produttiva, oltre a garantire alti standard qualitativi, posizionano l’Azienda tra le maggiori realtà mondiali con una capacità produttiva annua che supera i 2 milioni di contatori per acqua. In Maddalena sono presenti 20 banchi prova certificati in grado di testare idraulicamente strumenti di misura dal 15 al 400 mm in accordo alle normative vigenti. Maddalena ha costantemente ottenuto il riconoscimento della conformità della sua produzione presso i più importanti Istituti metrologici Europei ed extra Europei.
